Hunt or be hunted in Cold Blooded, a first-person action horror game where you are tasked with hunting a hostile entity aboard space station Athos. Explore the dreaded halls to find valuable resources and utilize various weapons and equipment to prepare for your next thrilling encounter.

My Work

Gameplay and Systems: Designed and pitched game concept with success. Designed weapon and equipment sandbox and system balancing. Created a weapon balancing excel sheet that calculates numerous variables to improve balancing efficiency and accuracy. Designed a randomized loot system for ammo, equipment, and other resources. Designed gameplay loop, visual feedback elements, and player movement mechanics. Gave design feedback on level design, enemy design, and UI design.

UI: Designed and implemented weapon crosshair UI with reactive animations. Worked with designers and artists to establish HUD layout, information, and aesthetic with wireframes.

Management: Oversaw the design team. Delegated tasks and set milestone goals for design using Scrum, and held weekly check-ins with designers, programmers, and artists.

Engine: Scripting, UI implementation, Wwise audio management, and asset management.

Communication: Prepared material for design team meetings. Created design documents to communicate information to designers, programmers, and artists. Created audio documents to track audio implementation progress and assist programmers to improve team workflow.

Prototyping: Conducted playtests, wrote and utilized player feedback surveys, and analyzed player provided data.
